To celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, Leah and Mark wanted to host a big celebration in the garden of their home in Oxford. The couple usually spend their anniversaries with a quiet night in and a takeaway, but they wanted to do something different this year to mark their first decade as a married couple. For the party, they have rented a marquee to set up in their garden, which has plenty of space for 70 guests to attend. Their son will be acting as the DJ for the night and Hog Roast Didcot has been hired to cater for the occasion. For the menu, we will be serving a classic hog roast with a variety of delicious extras to ensure that there is plenty for every guest to enjoy.
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Didcot team will arrive at the private venue in the morning and get to work on slow-roasting the hog. We will begin by allowing the pork to cook to perfection for around five hours, before being expertly carved by our chef. Once it is time to serve, the succulent pork will be served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be serving homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, marinated chicken kebabs, halloumi and vegetable skewers, and a selection of fresh salad dishes. Overall, this will create the perfect buffet menu, with more than enough to go around. This party is sure to be a lot of fun and the Hog Roast Didcot team is looking forward to helping make this a brilliant anniversary!
