Lara is an exchange student currently studying in England while at university. Originally, Lara is from university and November marks her 8th month away from home. With Thanksgiving approaching, her friendship group surprised her with a dinner party to remind her of home and to celebrate similarly to how she usually would with her family. For the event, her friend contacted Hog Roast Chipping Norton to arrange catering. After looking through our menus, it was decided that our classic hog roast would be ideal for the occasion as it is a delicious menu with plenty of dishes to choose from.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Chipping Norton team arrived at the venue and began to prepare the catering. We started by roasting the hog and ensuring that it had at least 6 hours to slow-roast to perfection. The tender meat was then expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Alongside the main dishes, we also provided seasonal vegetables, roasted baby potatoes, and fresh gravy for the guests to enjoy. Overall, this created a delicious menu with plenty to go around and something for every guest to enjoy. By serving our menu buffet style, the guests were able to enjoy as much of our catering as they wanted and created their own delicious dinners. It was great to be part of this event and to see Lara surrounded by so many great friends.
