Eid is an Islamic holiday celebrated by Muslims around the world. It marks the end of a month-long fasting from dawn to sunset. Eid is translated as ‘feast’ from Arabic.
A loyal local packaging and logistics company have ordered something different with Hog Roast Godstow to celebrate Eid with their employees. A great way to recognise and respect the religion of others! The serves will be spread out across two days, Thursday, and Friday. With the day shift being served between 12 and 3pm and the evening shift being served from 4am until 7am the following day.
Hog Roast Godstow will be providing tasty halal chicken kebabs with a spiced grilled vegetable kebab for any vegetarians and vegans. The kebabs will be served into flatbreads with the option of a crunchy lemon salad made up of iceberg lettuce, sliced beef tomatoes, red onion, grated carrot, medley of peppers and to give it a feisty kick, jalapeños!
Once the flatbread is filled with the delicious kebab and scrumptious salad, there are a selection of sauces to complete it. Sauces include garlic mayonnaise, yoghurt and mint, hot sauce, buttermilk dressing and humous.
For a sweet to finish the treat, each person will receive a luscious Baklava. Everyone will also get a bottle of water.
Hog Roast Godstow will have to be considerate and respectful to this religion by not wearing any logo clothing or having any logo equipment as Muslims cannot eat pork because of religious reasons.
The local company is rather good to their employees, providing treats such as meals or grazing boxes. Recently Hog Roast Godstow completed Easter celebrations with chocolate egg hunt box, before then it was pancakes to celebrate pancake day with various delicious toppings. We hope this relationship is maintained in the future.
