They were planning something for their mum’s 60th, and once the idea of a surprise party landed, everything else fell into place fast. We went with our signature hog roast for the day, featuring fall-apart pulled pork, sage and onion stuffing, crackling, applesauce, all served up on soft rolls and wraps with mixed salad and gourmet coleslaw on the side. This classic combo went down a storm, unsurprisingly. And we didn’t forget the vegetarians and vegans either – Hog Roast Chippenham rustled up grilled vegetable kebabs with optional halloumi, plus BBQ-pulled jackfruit sliders, so nobody was left picking at the edges of someone else’s plate.
Mum had no idea what was coming, and she was completely overwhelmed once she worked it out – in a good way. Her reaction was exactly what everyone had been hoping for and Hog Roast Chippenham loved being a part of it.
