On Saturday Hog Roast Middle Barton had the pleasure of catering for a wedding for an undergraduate from Oxford together with his beautiful fiancée. Instead of the usual hog or lamb roast the couple chose our BBQ Menu which perfectly suited the ambience of this relaxed wedding. The groom was reading modern languages and consequently there was a large mix of different nationalities with lots of different languages being spoken. The groom and his family hailed from Australia so Hog Roast Middle Barton served amongst other things, kangaroo burgers. To start with the ordinary British beef burger was the most requested but the kangaroo burger soon overtook it in popularity and was pronounced delicious and very gamey. So now you know!
Hog roast Middle Barton also barbecued our special sausages made to our own recipe and halloumi and vegetable kebabs. To accompany this meat fest there was a tomato feta and basil salad, homemade coleslaw and a mixed salad of different leaves. Puddings and cheese were provided by others and a barn dance followed in the evening. The honeymoon was to be in Iceland at a later date
