Northwest of Oxford lies the small village of Binsey. This quaint village was host to a small but extravagant wedding in the Grade 1 listed parish church of St Margaret. After photographs were taken by Treacle Well the wedding party retired to the local hall in which the interior had been decorated befitting the occasion. Spitting Pig staff presented the reception drinks as the Binsey party arrived, handmade canapés were enjoyed as conversation and prosecco flowed and old friendships were rekindled after time apart. For the evening meal our Wedding menu 3 offered Roasted pig served with all the trimmings with a second choice of spit roasted turkey with cranberries and stuffing. The meat was well-received and as the plates were licked clean all eyes turned to the puddings, handmade dark chocolate tortes and zesty lemon tart.
Overall a fantastic event in Binsey and Spitting Pig Oxford was grateful for the amount of positive feedback we received over the course of the day. We wish the happy new couple all the best for their future and hope they enjoy their well deserved honeymoon travelling around Europe.
