Light nights and longer days spring is defiantly in the air and it is lovely to see! We think when you work in nice weather it makes you feel a lot better and we could all do with cheering up with the recession lately we have all had our sprits dampened and its nice to see things getting back to normal, we have started to get really busy and we love getting orders it makes our day! Hog roast had a nice weekend we were at a stately home on Saturday for a wedding in Summertown and the views were extraordinary rural country in the middle of no where and we did get a bit lost on the way! A very formal wedding and lots of guests to feed we drafted in some extra staff to help the staff looked very smart as they lined up near the machines as the guests arrived and we pride ourselves in being very polite and courteous and you really have to be we are very strong believers that you should always treat others as you’d like to be treated your self and it is paramount to be nice. Hog roast hire Summertown caterers made pork, beef and duck and made some lovely glazed vegetables to go with the meats and some jacket potatoes dips and thick gravy to along with an assortment of potatoes we made jackets, creamed mashed and boiled in butter with butter nut squash silver cutlery and white bone china where placed uniformed on the tables over some nice white linen table cloths, we really did the bride and groom proud and they both looked so radiant and we all gasped as the young happy couple looked so much in love. There really is nothing like a good wedding and it always brings a tear or two especially when the speeches are read and this one was no exception and to be honest we were also in tears as we stood and listened to the brides father say a lovely speech.
