That’s exactly what happened when school leavers gathered for a spectacular Bridgerton-themed prom at a stunning Oxford manor house over the weekend. With Regency-era fashion and a touch of modern flair, the night promised to be as unforgettable as a Lady Whistledown scandal sheet!
The manor, dressed to the nines, welcomed guests with grandeur and elegance. Picture chandeliers twinkling like stars, draped in gold and pastel hues, with lush floral arrangements adding that perfect touch of opulence. As you walked in, you couldn’t help but feel like you were at one of the Duke of Hastings’ legendary balls. Music played a crucial role in setting the scene. From classical compositions to modern hits with a vintage twist, the playlist had everyone dancing. The dance floor was a swirl of satin and silk, as guests gracefully moved to the rhythm, lost in the magic of the night. Entertainment was nothing short of enchanting. Period-themed games, a charming photo booth with regency props, and even a fortune-teller! Guests laughed, posed, and played, fully immersed in the whimsical world of Bridgerton.
Of course, this magical night wouldn’t have been complete without the incredible feast Hog Roast Witney provided. Our Hog Roast Dining Experience Menu was nothing short of spectacular! The feast kicked off with a showstopping selection of canapés: mini quiches, mini pizzas, smoked Scottish salmon, mini fish and chips, and chicken liver parfait. Each bite was a little taste of heaven! For the main course, guests could choose from Hog Roast Witney’s signature hog roast complete with stuffing, crackling, and applesauce; whole-roasted chicken with chipolata sausages; or vegan-friendly grilled vegetable skewers.
Our sides included a classic Caesar salad, creamy coleslaw, heritage tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, and perfectly roasted new potatoes. And then came dessert! Vacherins topped with strawberries and passion fruit cream, and profiteroles drizzled in rich chocolate sauce provided the perfect ending to a joy-filled evening.As the night drew to a close, it was clear that the Bridgerton-themed prom was a roaring success. The combination of stunning decor, enchanting music, and Hog Roast Witney’s exceptional catering left guests with full hearts and even fuller stomachs!
