Every year in the week before Christmas, Michelle and her friendship group gather together at someone’s home to enjoy a delicious festive meal, exchange gifts, and celebrate Christmas. This year, the event is taking place at Michelle’s home and she has hired Hog Roast Wallingford to help out with the catering, leaving her to enjoy the event. For the menu, it was decided that our festive buffet option would be ideal, alongside a meat-free main dish for several guests to enjoy. This event sounded like a lot of fun and the Hog Roast Wallingford team was more than happy to get involved with making this a Christmas to remember!
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Wallingford team arrived at the private venue in the morning and began to prepare for the 3:00pm serving time. We started by whole-roasting the turkey and ensuring that it was packed full of natural juices and flavours. Additionally, we served a vegetarian roast for meat-free guests to enjoy. Once it was time to serve the menu, the main dishes were expertly carved by our chef and provided alongside a delicious variety of trimmings and sides. The guests could enjoy roasted baby potatoes, glazed carrots and sprouts, creamy cauliflower cheese, fresh green beans, pigs in blankets, and homemade gravy. Overall, this created a varied and delicious festive meal, with plenty for every guest to enjoy. Our catering was a great addition to the event and was the best way to allow every guest to make the most of their annual tradition.
